SUMMERHILL: PLATINIUM GREEN PROPERTY OPENING IN JUNE

 

Construction began on Summerhill in Idaho Falls. This family property will be upon completion, Idaho’s “First Platinum Green” property. Summerhill is planning on opening in June.

NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSING SERVICES COME ON BOARD

 

On January 1st, Neighborhood Housing Services properties are now under management of Tomlinson and Associates.

There are five properties that made up Neighborhood Housing Servings that included: Lakewood, Gateway, Davis Park, Northwest Pointe, and Stewart. These are affordable housing properties with 286 units.

CARDONA SENIOR APARTMENTS RECEIVES AN AWARD

Cardona Senior Apartments was awarded from the City of Pocatello-Beautification Committee an award for the Most Beautiful New Property on Friday, June 6th.

CARDONA SENIOR APARTMENTS OPEN IN CHUBBUCK (POCATELLO AREA) IDAHO

Contractors completed all but landscape work at the 48 unit Cardona Senior housing development in Chubbuck recently. A dozen residents moved in the 1st wave and started enjoying the amenities of this affordable housing project. Applications are now being taken for the remainder of the units.

Cardona is another high quality project developed by Thomas Development of Boise, Idaho. This property was designed and built to the United States Green Building Council LEED for Homes standards, insuring energy efficiency, preservation of resources, sustainability and interior livability and air quality. Thomas Development expects to receive a LEED Silver Certification.

CONSTRUCTION STARTED THIS MONTH ON THE “RECYCLING" OF THE RIDGEVIEW APARTMENTS IN ST. MARIES, IDAHO.

Ridgeview, a 34 unit development was built in the late 1970’s, to provide housing for lower income families in Benawah County. Boise Housing Corporation and Idahocorp Financial Services, a division of Idaho Power Company, recently formed a new company to purchase and renovate this important housing resource.

Tomlinson and Associates, as developer, and JRG Construction, contractor, will carry out plans to replace roofing, windows, doors, siding, decks and playground throughout the summer. Extensive site work, including replacing all walkways and many retaining walks on the hillside site is also planned.

APPLICATIONS ARE NOW BEING TAKEN FOR RESIDECY IN THE ROSSLARE SENIOR PROJECT IN IDAHO FALLS, IDAHO.

Interior construction is nearly complete, and winter delayed site work. Work is estimated to be finished in early June.

OAKLAWN APARTMENTS CHANGES NAME AND IMAGE

Oaklawn Apartments, Boise, Idaho, has been renamed by its new owners, a company with Boise Housing Corporation and Idahocorp Financial Services as members.

Apple Pointe was chosen as the new name and 25 apple trees were planted along the perimeter of the site to set the theme.

Work recently started on a complete refurbishing of all six buildings. Each apartment will receive new air conditioning, replacement energy efficient windows, new entry and storm doors, the addition of a dishwasher and new kitchen and bathroom cabinets. All new roofing, new vinyl siding, a new playground, new patios and extensive landscape changes are also planned. Work is well under way and should be complete by early fall.
